A slightly dank, soupy appearance proffers a subdued nose that hints at Grenache driven, raspberry red fruits. Soft supporting Shiraz spice of white pepper and clove. Carries a game-meat-ammonia edge with subtle oak influence. Even balance of fine tannin and lifted red fruit, if somewhat simple. A clip of fresh herbaceous kitchen garden at the end is pleasant.
