A new addition for the West Cape Howe team, with fruit come from a “small well established north facing vineyard” in the Porongurup sub-region of Great Southern in Western Australia.
West Cape Howe, Riesling, Porongurup, 2018
Lifted perfume on the nose with spiced lime pickle, lime skin, kaffir lime leaf, baked apple tart and some lovely wet stone minerality. Sheer citrus drive and length with a delicious texture. Quality fruit and winemaking on show, with complexity and wonderful interplay between the stony lines and delicious fruit. Balanced acidity lifts and makes this sing.
