Sandalford, Estate Reserve, Chardonnay, Margaret River, 2017
With white peach and light grapefruit citrus, supported by light toasty oak influences and gun flint, this opens with lots of chardy boxes being ticked. Good layers of ripe fruit, bounced by oak and juicy acidity driving a medium length finish. Just a touch of salty Margaret River tang to say goodnight. Solid now and will certainly bloom in the next few years.
