St Hugo a few years ago stretched its wings to encompass quality wines from across South Australia’s premium regions. In the middle of the dry spectrum on the IRF.
St Hugo, Riesling, Eden Valley, 2018
Pristine lime aromas: Bickford’s Lime Cordial, torn kaffir lime leaf, lime zest with mineral cool white rocks and refreshing light salt spray. Pure minerally lines of exquisite lime with just right acidity: excellent push and persistent drive. The tail curls and trails long with a fine chalky texture. Easily a sleeper for the cellar or textbook riesling for now.
