Back vintage write up. Kalleske have just rolled to the 2018.
Kalleske, Dodger, Tempranillo, Barossa Valley, 2017
Cranberry, boysenberry and loganberry offer a comfy ride while the well judged oak just gives the right amount of framing. Medium bodied, dripping with spice and vitality. Tannins are tight, fine. There’s a lick of dark cherry cola providing a varietal guise, but there’s a lot of Barossa going on here too. Great value for the dollars, deserves a decent cut of meat.
