The Natural Wine Co, Shiraz, Central Ranges, 2018
Deep garnet in the glass. Aromas of damp plum, blueberry, toasty vanilla oak and a cool spice. Medium bodied with dark plum and black fruits, peppery spice and mocha coffee flavours lead through to fine tannins. The tail leaves a sharp lift. This range is maturing and showing good value for money, not just a marketing exercise.
