Pinot Grigio…the phenomenon that doesn’t slow down.
West Cape Howe, Pinot Grigio, Western Australia, 2019
Pale lemon in colour (limited, if any skin contact). Aromas of nashi pear, ham fat, mushy peas with some reductive elements that blow off to further show waxy nougat. Textural with a decent amount of viscous varietal body weight and invoking pear slices with bittersweet citrus. Has balance, freshness and fine fruit qualities. If Pinot Grigio is your thing, this presents as an attractive option.
