Ten Minutes by Tractor, 10X, Chardonnay, Mornington Peninsula, 2018

On the warmer edge of Pinot: there’s warming brown spice with hints of ham hock, flinty gun smoke, forest floor mushroom and dried thyme before fruits of red currant, red cherry and a hint of chocolate. Medium bodied, svelte texture with med-deep red cherry fruits. Has a fine energy that pulses in the mid-palate. Lingering choc-orange makes for smiles at the end. Lithely elegant.
