The Indigo Grape Growers Collective, Cabernet Sauvignon, Victoria, 2018
A somewhat soupy appearance in the glass with thick, slowly moving legs. Pencils and blackberry conserve, Rum n’ Raisin chocolate and cigar. Despite the stated ABV it lacks heat yet the fruit is somewhat raisined and dried. Tannins are firm, blocky. The finish with mint and chocolate giving some life, but not quite enough.
