Pirathon, Silver, Shiraz, Barossa Valley, 2017
Intense raspberry, spiced plum, blackberry, dark chocolate squares, and smoky toasty coconutty oak. Into full bodied territory but manages to avoid alcohol hotness. Tight and corseted palate with spreading, fine grainy tannins. Finishes with bright lift of red fruit.
Rating: 18.25/20 (93/100)
