Gundog Estate Marksman’s Shiraz, Canberra, 2019

Cool climate influences with plenty of clove and peppery spice, black cherry, nori sheet umami yet polished with glossy sheen. Smooth, even simply flowing medium bodied. Silky tannins and a cheek pinch of tannin grip. Fruit is celebrated through brightness with support from Belgian choc oak. Classy and effortless.
