The Tyrrell family have long association with the success of Chardonnay in Australia. This is one of the very few releases to come from the Hunter Valley in the disastrous 2020 vintage. But there’s always exceptions and with the early harvest date for the fruit, it was safely in the winery before the devastating drought and bushfires wreaked havoc for many.
