Lambert Estate, Little Rebel, Mourvèdre, Barossa, 2019
Dark ruby with a little dulling around the edges. Peppery (white and black) and spiced with some confected, almost carbonic sweet notes. Fruit reaches into plum and red currant with meaty leather and bitter herbs. Up front fruit with drying, flat tannins with an interesting bitter, tartness through the finish, but thankfully devoid of heat. Drink now.
