Howard Park, Abercrombie, Cabernet Sauvignon, Margaret River, Mount Barker, 2018

Calm, deep…deep nose. Cassis, fresh turned earth, snapped bay leaf, malty/choc almost “Milo” hit, cedar wood cigar tubing, ripe blackberry fruits with an inherent underlying brightness of life and lift. Medium full in weight with excellent focus, grip and length. The all important tannins pulling taut and astringent. All parts in balance. Elegance is the catch-cry and long term is the forecast. Excellent Cabernet.
