There’s some argument over red wines from the region of Orange, NSW. Some love the subtlety, others think there’s not enough warmth for full ripeness. Does it matter if its well made? This one made by Deb Lauritz at Cumulus.
Quilty & Grandsen, Merlot, Orange, 2018
Medium garnet in hue. Soft and supple nose: Cherry and light plum with light woody spice and fallen leaf matter. Lightly structured with some surprising acidity that bites through soft and fluffy tannin.
