A return to normal programming for fruit sources after the impacted 2020 vintage.
d’Arenberg, The Dry Dam, Riesling, McLaren Vale, Adelaide Hills, 2021
Pale lemon in colour. Floral and chalky. Cut lemons and lime citrus, lemon balm, icing sugar, green apple, easy blossom, sea spray and a hint of grilled pineapple core. Lightly framed with expected viscosity, it finds balance between the residual sugar and the acidity. Chalky to close, with a little waxiness to the texture. Dependable and a no brainer for a food match, just missing a touch of X Factor this vintage.
