Deep ruby with near clear edged rim. Offering a yin/yang of savoury and fruit elements: Clove spice, dust, buttery rich oak, dark cherry, small red plums, game meat, gunflint and lavender flower. Straight as a die, medium bodied tannin structure with that red flesh wrapped tightly around the core. Almost austere for the now, time should see unfurling.
