Probably the only blend of this in the world. Made from Riesling, Gewürztraminer and the uncommon Kerner (Weisser Herold) from the Fechner Vineyard. Described as “One Vineyard. Three Germanic Luminaries. One Aromatic Explosion.” Co-fermented and bottled un-fined. Winemakers are Daniel Chaffey Hartwig and Theo Engela with “Handsome Huon” Fechner bringing youthful glee and social media cred. A sneak peek of the new vintage, as the 2021 is still available on the website.

Hyper floral is the signature for this label. A mélange of rosewater, minerally pink salt, pink grapefruit, honeycomb, native blossom, lime zest, pear and lychee. The just viscous and creamy weight off-set by salty spice and spiky acidity. Bittersweet citrus  lingers. Such a unique blend that absolutely comes into its own with spiced SE-Asian foods.
