Terre à Terre, Crayères Vineyard, Cabernet Sauvignon/Shiraz, Wrattonbully, 2021

Deep garnet colour. Fragrant cassis and white pepper with a touch of choc milk sweetness, rosewood sideboard, deep cabbage rose florals, dark raspberry, turned brown earth, trodden bramble, fresh bay leaf and a hint of spearmint. A harmonious palate that delivers more savoury than sweet. Wonderfully knit tannins binding a tight and straight flow of dark berry, brambly fruit and lingering sharp peppery spice. Achieves what it sets out to do with class, restraint and elegance. Yet again, another cellar friendly release.
