Clandestine Vineyards Prosecco Rosé 2023

The second release of this wine from Nick and Trudy Stacy, the vignerons behind Clandestine. While they’re based in Western Australia, they source fruit from quality South Australian and Victorian vineyards. Here the Glera for the Prosecco is infused with Barbera skins. Fermented to 8.0g/L RS for a hint of sweetness.

Clandestine Vineyards, Prosecco Rosé, King Valley, 2023

Very pale dusky peach hue. Fast beading and easy lace. Pulses with ripe peach and pink apple signatures, red cherry, light musk, chalk and slightly smoked meats depth. Evaporative mousse, like fairy/candy floss. And carrying a similar flavour profile with pink and red fruits. Natural acidity is tempered by the residual sugar and rounds out the palate. Will have substantial amounts of fans.

RRP: $28
