Bremerton Wines, Tamblyn, Langhorne Creek, 2022

Bright edges to a garnet heart. Choc mint, blackberry conserve, roast meats, violets, licorice, vanilla bean paste, earthy moss, malt, plum flesh and tonic water. Medium weight with dusty and rustic framework. Sharp fruit with cutting edges sitting inside that framework. Black fruit, white pepper and anise. Some puckering intensity for the moment that cries out for BBQ lamb ribs or miso grilled eggplant.
