Still only just medium lemon/gold with green highlights. Complex and evolving nose: Fresh toast, lime marmalade, opened chalk box, pineapple core, lemon blossom, lemon balm, nutty sweet roast cashew and musk suggestions. Textural and carrying a little weight of age. Underneath the spring blossoms and just rich toasty tones there’s an impressive drive and power that belies the age. There’s a minerally sheen, briny seriousness and juicy acidity. Incredible for the price.
