Home Hill Estate Pinot Noir 2013

image

This was a welcome home to Tasmania present from a good family friend. A good welcome home indeed.
Home Hill have scooped up many trophies and medals with the top tier Kelly’s Reserve, but this little brother has its fair share of bling too, including gold at Royal Melbourne.

Delicate and fine boned. Stewing cherries and strawberry coulis.
Well structured with plenty of fine tannins and juicy acid. Plenty of spice and a little heat from the slightly higher alcohol than you think it’d need. Still incredibly easy to drink and worthy as being one Tassie’s most consistent pinots.

RRP: gift
Alc: 13.9%
