Part of the flagship range for Bremerton. Packaging is as solid as the wine, even if it is a somewhat confusing capsule…is it cork?? Is it a glass stopper??
Bremerton, Old Adam, Shiraz, Langhorne Creek, 2013
Cork. 22 months oak. Even after 24 hours opening: Powerful nose: Coconut flesh, baked ANZAC biscuit, menthol, “Schweppes” cola, deep plum and raspberry. Broad, broad, broad palate. A juggernaut: pushing forth a wall of coconut oak, spice and blunt plum. Chocolate weeps from its pores while find sandpaper tannins attempt to wrestle black raspberry fruit to submission. Make no mistake, this is a wine of opulence, but not decadence. Once to impress the father in law.
RRP: $56
