Huntington Estate, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mudgee 2009
Garnett colour but starting to dull. Still fruit forward: Pencil, mulberry, plum and a deep cassis. Lashings of choc oak and sandy tannins. Medium bodied and seems not ready. Not like it’s young and needs a decant..it seems it’s scared of itself, nervous even. Lasting sweet oak, black currant and violets. At 7 years old provides okay value at $26 for a medium term cellared wine.
RRP: $26
Alc: 13.8%
