Pizzini Arneis 2016

Firstly, it’s not French, so don’t leave off the “s” at the end: Ar-Nay-Is.

Pizzini, Arneis, King Valley, 2016

Distinctly leafy nose: Nettles, fresh herbs, radish before nutty notes and filling out with brown pear. Again, the palate starts leafy with parsley and tobacco, before distinct tart stone and grape fruit and not quite ripe green apple. Acid is bright and powerful as it kicks in as the flavour spirals downwards.  One for acid hounds, or serve it up with super fresh seafood.

RRP: $24

Alc: 12.5%
