d’Arenberg’s party starter, named after Chester Osborn’s mum(m) Pauline. If you know your labels, you’ll know that it used to be called “Dadd” but the big player G.H Mumm decided it was a little close to the family tree.

Attractive nose of apple skin, flowers and light bready notes with a citrus lilt. Crisp palate, with green apple, “Thirst” Lifesaver lolly, light raspberry and red currant, soda bread and a steely finish. Good aperitif style that dances with an easy acid line. Very easy to share a bottle.
