Harvested from “villages” of Colbinabbin, Chinaman’s Bend and Corop around the heartland of central Victoria: Heathcote.
De Bortoli, Villages, Grenache Rosé, Heathcote, 2017
Light raspberry jube, faint strawberry, pink marshmallow, rose petals and just the right amount of funk. It’s a feel good wine in the mouth, offset with a chalkiness like the Pink Cliffs of the Heathcote geology. A “if you can catch me you can kiss me” kind of wine.
