A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Grown on the family estate Bozokbag on the Gallipoli Peninsula. The bottle has thrown an impressive crust. The distributor has just rolled over to the 2012 vintage.

Inky core, but showing age by browning at the edges. The 100% new oak maturation still prevalent even after 7 years in bottle. Fleshy, murky plum offset by the dusty inherent nature of Cab Franc, replete with roasting pan juices and Christmas cake spice. The petit verdot lifts with perfume at the end. Purple fruit dominant with sour plum, prune, bitter coffee, cassis, toasted oak. Spice finishes the deal. Not a exactly subtle, but throw it at some roast lamb shoulder and it comes to the party. No need for any further ageing.
