Deeply coloured heart with a vibrant core. Reticent nose that ultimately gives up some steel, meaty roast chicken, blood plum, blackberry, milky tea and purple flowers. A wine that can easily hold its audience, the fruit stays neatly uniform and even gives a tug of intrigue with a darker ferrous edge. Tannin structure is well executed for the price point. Very good value.
