Made for the “celebrity” restaurateur/chef/cook/television personality Stefano de Pieri by Woolworth’s liquor arm. Label states it is made from predominantly Sangiovese, so it’s No region listed so I can only assume it would be a fruit salad from all over South Eastern Australia. Exclusive to Cellarmasters.
Stefano de Pieri, Mia Vita, Pale Rosé, Sangiovese, 2017
Interesting and vague aromas: red shiny berries, cucumber skin, public swimming pool and fresh white bread toast. Sweet, simple and pleasant flavours, if somewhat lacking in complexity. Raspberry fruit with a tart ruby grapefruit quality and plenty of musk. Chalky and drying finish.
