Gundog Estate Winemaker Matt Burton opens up about the naming of this wine “The name references the original road into Pokolbin, which snaked through the “Will’s Hill” vineyard. Planted in 1980 by the Lesnik family who migrated from Austria.” 2014 was a stellar vintage for the Hunter Valley and Matt Burton knew he was on to something special with some amazing parcels from around the valley. Sold as part of a 3 pack with the “48 Block” and the “Somerset Vineyard.”
