From the dependable Windowrie stable, this is The Natural Wine Company, not to be confused with “Natural Wine Co.” out of McLaren Vale. Certified organic label, it hits a niche in the market place: those that care about the marketed Organic Certification and those that want a decent drop for a fair price. Available from Raw Wine and Beer.
The Natural Wine Co, Sauvignon Blanc, Cowra, 2017
Sweaty, greasy gooseberry and greengage, cooked passion fruit pips and pulp, tropical pineapple core, red apple and diesel,. Banana lolly esters, creamy almost blackcurrant sweet mid palate before angular passion fruit and boysenberry. Acidity is medium to high, the grip is unique and almost un-savvy like.
