Tahbilk Shiraz 2016

An absolute no-brainer for consistency, reliability and cellaring potential. Tahbilk’s winemaking now has this range as approachable in youth as it will be in 10 years time.

Tahbilk, Shiraz, Nagambie Lakes, 2016

Regional eucalypt and mint with blood orange, yellow and purple plum halves and cooking chocolate buttons. Sprinklings of pepper, spices and cedary oak. A lighter than expected frame, with a creamy black fruit smear that disappears fast before cracked pepper spice and lithe tannins take over. A snappy and spicy shiraz.

RRP: $25.70
Alc: 14%
Rating:  17.25/20
