Singlefile Chardonnay 2017

2 harvest days, almost 2 weeks apart: 22nd March and then April 4th in 2017. The wine sees 33% new and 67% one year old French oak maturation for 8 months

Singlefile Wines, Chardonnay, Great Southern, 2017

Subtle sulfide and flinty aromas give way to reveal nougat, brioche, grapefruit and light  stonefruit. Shows balance with richness and lightness in lockstep: juicy fruit and spicy oak. The savoury leesy complexity cut with an underestimated acidity. Leaves a pleasant mocha afternote. Ticks all the chardonnay boxes.

RRP: $30
