Singlefile Wines, Chardonnay, Great Southern, 2017
Subtle sulfide and flinty aromas give way to reveal nougat, brioche, grapefruit and light stonefruit. Shows balance with richness and lightness in lockstep: juicy fruit and spicy oak. The savoury leesy complexity cut with an underestimated acidity. Leaves a pleasant mocha afternote. Ticks all the chardonnay boxes.
