Straw gold in colour. Big bubbles float slowly upwards. Nutty, yeasty pound cake aromas with soft yellow pomme fruits over chamomile flowers and rich citrus. Medium bodied mousse with medium intensity. Crunchy apple and pear pomme fruits dominate, finishing dry and clean with a firm grip. Acidity is refreshing, almost bracing. An aperitif style (less than 3 grams of residual sugars) while the usage of the ‘French’ grapes gives a little richness and depth. Good value.
