From the cool climes of the picturesque Orange region 3 hours west of Sydney and grown by the Crossing family.
Angullong, Pinot Grigio, Orange, 2018
A very light onion skin copper hue: Pear skin and warming citrus tart aromas lead to a rich and medium-full palate plenty of varietal pear, grapefruit and more savoury elements of biscuit wafer and almost a quinine/tonic water bitter-sweetness. A little too full and blunt, with a faintly waxy close but still maintains energy and freshness. An easy match for a sharing platter of nori rolls.
