Single vineyard. Just rolling over onto the 2017. But if you’ve got this tucked away, drink up and enjoy.
Mud House, Claim 431, Pinot Noir, Central Otago, 2016
Stalky, forest floor, deep cherry, lipstick and blueberry with licorcce and moments of polish. Rich and giving, plenty of power: The tannins clamp like body armour around the heart of cherry fruit. There’s plenty of spice and oak too, giving this a full arsenal.
