A nose starting to show the beginning ‘teenage’ development: the definitive savoury signature of the vineyard now presenting as more meaty than salty, perhaps the suggestion of leather. There’s a hint of herbaceous spearmint over choc peanut with cherry and plum fruit. Medium bodied and still tightly packed in. The tannins remain fine, sandy and offering grip.
