Yalumba, Block 2, Bush Vine, Grenache, Rosé, Barossa Valley, 2018
Very pale dusk/peach colour. Nose of creamy peach and peach skin notes, light spearmint, pine needle, marzipan, lavender and mandarin. Palate opens with breakfast juice tropical/citrus along with a steely raspberry, extinguished tobacco spice and lifted herbaceous qualities. Solid presence and structure. There’s austerity with a contemplative level of complexity. Acidity is broad to finish but ultimately this a serious dry rosé
