The Pizzini family excel at all things Italian and grapey. This time, the white spectrum. Arneis (say the S), originally comes from the North West of Italy in the Peidmont region and translates as “little rascal.”
Pizzini, Arneis, King Valley, 2018
Rich aromas of white flowers, light stone fruit, marzipan, honeysuckle, pears and greengage plum. Slightly viscous palate with fleshy fruit: pear and lime. The lingering spice and acidity dance cleverly together through to a bone dry finish. Full, yet refreshing.
