A blend of Barossa Valley floor fruit and Eden Valley selections for spicier edges.
St Hallett, Butcher’s Cart, Shiraz, Barossa, 2017
Almost rubbery./gun flinty reductive elements break open to lush Barossa fruit and chocolate. Hints of choc nut bar mix with clove/garam spice and plum juice. Full bodied and dense through the palate. Square shouldered and blocky. Big dollops of red/purple boysenberry fruit. All solid right angles: tannins are grumpy and grumbly. Big dollops of red/purple boysenberry fruit . Aforementioned spice makes for interest and charm.
