Red Knot by Shingleback Rosé 2019

A cellar door and online exclusive to Shingleback and Woolworth’s liquor arms: Dan Murphy’s and BWS. Not as much bling (at this stage) as its previous siblings…only Bronzes, but still respectable. For those wine nerds who like stats: 59% Pinot Noir, 30% Shiraz, 8% Mourvedre and 3% Grenache. The geographical split of fruit is: 78% McLaren Vale and 22% Adelaide Hills.

A very light salmon/dusty pink. Cherry, white peach, strawberry and red apple skin nose with a touch of musk. Dry, crisp and showing balance between necessary textural elements and fruit profile. Simple light red fruits with enough herb savoury distinction. Pleasant drinking.
