The blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot for the I Am George range. Fruit drawn from the Limestone Coast greater region which encompasses such jewels as: Wrattonbully, Padthaway and Coonawarra.

I Am George, Cabernet, Merlot, Limestone Coast, 2017

Deep purple in the glass. Chary oak and damp black fruit aromas, underwritten by menthol and leaf.  Warm and clunky. Globules of black fruit, worked to a blackberry/plum jus. Gauze tannins to a tart, menthol finish with that char. Some slickness to the front but gives somewhat one-dimensional lasting impression. Unfortunately not the greatest in the I Am George range.
