Comes with the fancy temperature gauge advising if the wine is too cold, just right or too warm with a 6 degree spectrum. New label looks good without losing the connection to the old. 12 months maturation in old American oak. Winemaker is Adam Eggins.
Taylors Estate, Shiraz, Clare Valley, 2018
Plenty of plum, cherry and crushed herb leaf nose with bitter char and sweet milk choc/mocha. Spot on medium bodied with darker, savoury stalky elements supporting the rich plum fruit with sweet oak. Straight down the line with fine, easy tannins. Reliable and doesn’t fail to deliver.
