Matured on yeast lees, spending 14 months in oak, predominantly Hungarian.

A deep purple with bright rim. Fun and attractive nose of brambly black and purple fruit, hints of black jelly beans, sage and dark chocolate. Plush fruit palate with a touch of heat and herbal lift. The somewhat coarse tannins giving a rusticity while promoting a protein-based dish pairing.
