Hardy’s have a long history of blending the finest regions and here take fruit from arguably the 2 greatest Pinot Noir growing areas in Australia.
Hardy’s, HRB D683, Pinot Noir, Yarra Valley, Tasmania, 2018
Medium-deep crimson hue. Attractive Pinot Noir aromas: Lifted macerated cherry, dark strawberry and blue plum fruit with smoked meats, dark licorice and stalky herbs. The palate medium bodied with plenty of cherry and strawberry fruit, a chalky texture with elegant tannins. Finely spiced with a straight line spine and a medium long tail. Whispers the right pinosity vibes into one’s ear but just missing a certain x-factor.
