Fiano, in origin, hails from Italy and is grown in the warmer climates of the southern regions, no wonder that it does well in areas of Australia influenced by sun and sea.
Bremerton, Special Release, Fiano, Langhorne Creek, 2019
Very pale lemon, almost translucent silver colour. Citrusy lemon (fresh and curd) aromas with a savoury bready varietal twist and a touch of fresh garden herb and blossom. Bright, balanced and lifted while displaying a slightly viscous weight to the palate. An inherent juiciness and toothsome texture with a finish of green pomme tartness and almost fennel seed lolly freshness. Match to a lightly creamy sauced pasta with fresh clam flesh.
