A blend of Eden and Barossa Valleys. Berton have just started rolling to the 2018, but there will be a bit of this floating about.
Berton Vineyards, Reserve, Shiraz, Barossa, 2017
Bruise purple. Full Barossa nose giving deep plum, chocolate and blackberry with savoury peppery nuances from the cooler Eden Valley fruit. Oak is little sweet but not unwelcome. Medium-full bodied with plush blackberry and plum fruit over a smooth, easy structure. Tannins are a fine supportive supporting actor rather than taking any sort of lead. Pleasant
