From a “near perfect” vintage, comes this Sangiovese from the cool climate Orange region of New South Wales.

Medium ruby-garnet colour. Sublte nose of blueberry, cherry with meaty, chunky salumi notes over cool cola, fresh earth and some dried kitchen garden herb. Medium bodied. Offering easy, dry cherry fruit with fine silty tannins and steely spine. The acidity sneaks up and destines the wine to be matched to tomato based or meat based Italian foods.
